Problem with JBoss 4.0.2

Using Hermes with JBoss

Problem with JBoss 4.0.2

Postby jpla2005 » Fri Sep 09, 2005 1:15 pm

I have install and run hermes 1.10 without any problems, but when I try to manage my JBoss AS (follow by the example). when I cretate the JNDI InitialContext and fill all the fields with the same values of the example, when I open it, I don't have nothing between the JBoss folder and the others sub-folders, only a ListEntityLocal topic. I have been working in it a few days and I don't have an answer.

Could you maybe post a little more information if you think there is something Hermes related going wrong?

What are you expecting to see in the JNDI tree?

If you browse the JNDI tree via the JBoss admin console does it show the same nodes as Hermes? Maybe talk to the person who configured the JNDI tree on that server.

following the example when I create the JBoss JNDI InitialContext and open it should be present this configuration:

JBoss
XAConnectionFactory
UserTransactionSessionFactory
HTTPConnectionFactory

console
UIL2XAConnectionFactory
UUIDKeyGeneratorFactory
HTTPXAConnectionFactory

topic
queue
ConnectionFactory
UserTransaction

jmx
HiLoKeyGeneratorFactory
UILXAConnectionFactory
UILConnectionFactory

but my configuration is:

JBoss
ListEntityLocal

jmx
HTTPXAConnectionFactory
UserTransactionSessionFactory
HTTPConnectionFdctory
ImageEntityLocal
UserTransaction
UILXAConnectionFactory
CategoryEntityLocal
UIL2XAConnectionFactory

queue
topic
console
UIL2ConnectionFactory
HiLoKeyGeneratorFactory
UILConnectionFactory

ejb
SmsLocal
UUIDKeyGeneratorFactory
RingtoneEntityLocal

as you may see, I don't have the values between JBoss root folder and the next sub folder.

Is there anything interesting in your hermes.log file?
